The PORTIMÃO BOX CUP 2023 on the 26th, 27th and 28th ofMay 2023 in our city of Portimão.

PORTIMÃO BOX CUP is an International Olympic Boxing Tournament organized by ESCOLA BOXE PORTIMÃO, with the institutional support of the Municipality of Portimão, the Portimão Parish, the Portuguese Sports and Youth Institute with the supervision of Association Boxe Algarve and the Portuguese Boxing Federation.

In 2022, in the 1st edition, 256 athletes from, 36 teams from 7 countries participated in the Tournament, where for three days they fought in two rings simultaneously, there were more than 200 fights.

This is an inclusive project, where female and male athletes of different age groups, weights, number of fights can embrace new competitive challenges, giving them the possibility to face multiple opponents in different styles and strategies, allowing them to progress and mature as boxers.

In this 2nd edition of the Tournament we want to bring more talent to our city and together promote the noble art that is Boxing and make new athletes aware of the modality and give athletes fromnational and international clubs the opportunity to do what they most like to do, compete, as an opportunity to learn, evolve and broaden skills and who knows how to become Tournament Champions.
